Laurel Hively-Washburn is an LA based photographer, entrepreneur, and transformational coach. Growing up nomadic, Laurel has always been a social outsider looking in on lives of those she has passed along the way. Laurel has always felt “liminal” compared to the “rooted”, and this shows in her artistic style. She captures moments of the in between- where transition occurs, light meets dark, humanity and life suspends in time.

Digital Photography
Though she fell in love with photography through film, the high contrast of digital cannot be over looked. Laurel chooses to further develop her high-contrast noir style with the digital medium.
